Regarding methods of obtaining research material for your class paper: There are probably a number of sources of good material, but their location depends on your topic. But one source is probably common to all topics-- namely the INTERNET. If you are not familiar with INTERNET searches, may I suggest that you try any of the following URLs for various Search Engines (some are METASEARCH engines, which search via several Search Engines): GOOGLE: http://www.google.com STARTING POINT: http://www.stpt.com CNET SEARCH: http://www.search.com EXCITE: http://www.excite.com WEBCRAWLER: http://www.webcrawler.com YAHOO: http://www.yahoo.com BING: http://www.bing.com You may want to try lookup keywords such as (POLITICS OR CONGRESS OR BUDGET) AND X where X is a keyword for your project. For example, if your topic were the YF-22, I would suggest X = (YF22 OR YF-22 OR F-22 OR F22) There are also a number of sites that have a lot of research material on the political process. You may want to try these (several of which have their own local Search Engines). You'll find a list of links to these sites on the class web page.
